Ecclesial Communities professing the Apostolic & Catholic Faith in harmony with Orthodox tradition and who’s spiritual and sacramental life is framed by the ancient forms of the Western Rite liturgy; are cordially invited to join the Communion and participate in the establishing of a canonical structure in their location and region.

The Province of Europe, Africa & Asia consists of jurisdictions, ecclesial communities and local churches recognised as members of the Orthodox Old Roman Catholic Communion within the geographical areas of Europe, Africa and Asia.

The Province was originally founded in 2000 as the Old Catholic Church in Europe, in 2009 by act of Synod it changed it’s name to the Old Roman Catholic Church in Europe and in 2012 was recognised as an autonomous Province by the Old Roman Catholic Church (Latin Rite) and the Old Roman Catholic Church of America, and subsequently by the Old Roman Catholic Church in Great Britain through the signing of the “Walsingham Declaration” in 2012 and joint holy Synod in Brighton, 2014. In 2017 at the holy Synod in Chicago, the Province became a founding member of the Orthodox Old Roman Catholic Communion.
